We’re San, Yuki and Jamie. We started Viet Dream Travel in 2010. We had always heard so many stories of mediocre tours in Vietnam. We have even been on some, and we regretted it. So we decided it was time for a Vietnam travel agency that was different from the rest.
The goal of Viet Dream Travel is to help people avoid the boring tourist traps that many travel agents sell tickets to. Instead, we want people to see the more interesting and more authentic side of Vietnam.
My wife and I recently booked the Vietnam experience through Viet Dream Travel (26 Sep – 8 Oct 2014). Having had the privilege of traveling to many countries in the Pacific Rim, Vietnam was the best planned, organised and balanced as a couples holiday we have experienced in Asia. This was all down to Yuki and her team with support from independent tour guides particularly in the Mekong Delta, Hue and Hoi An. We covered too much to list here in a review; however the Dream Team managed to blend individual night stays in HCMC, a 3 day cruise on the Mekong Delta, 3 days in tranquil Hue visiting the magnificent Imperial Citadel, Royal Tombes and the horrors of the Vietnam war, and 4 days by the beach in Hoi An, which included a cooking class and bicycle tours. All of this was glued together with private car pick-ups/drop-offs, internal flights and transfers and knowledgeable English speaking guides. As an experienced traveller Viet Dream Travel impressed me on their ability to keep in touch and assess individual needs as the holiday progressed. These days this quality of service and personal attention to detail is scares – Viet Dream Travel has bags of it! Keep the great work up guys; you are doing a wonderful job.
